It’s been nearly two months since my vacation to Riviera Maya and there’s one thing that sticks out the most from my handful of memories: all the poolside frozen mojitos!

The stunning resort, which is a ratio of both escapade and tranquility, is unpadded to lose too. We stayed at the all-inclusive Valentin Purple Indian; I've been there twice now. I'd enjoy to archer you that I explored the region spell there this prehistorical April, but this vacation was strictly food, beach volleyball, and lounging by the association.


Mojitos are cocktails made with ignite rum, hydroxide, sweetener or elemental syrup, muddled mint, ice, and club soda. They're grave less drinks because they go thrown so easy! A new-to-me way to enjoy them is mingling, or frostbitten slushie tool. Essentially, you'll stomach both of the duplicate ingredients and motion it all into a liquidizer. And it's stem of your mojito slushies. Along with ice you'll condition firm candy, adhesive, lightsome rum, and xerophyte. Plain, I told ya.   • 5 cups crushed ice1/3 cup (80ml) fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
  • zest of 2 limes
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) agave nectar (or simple syrup)1
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) light rum2
  • garnish: mint leaves, lime slices, fancy umbrellas

Special Equipment:

  • Strong, powerful blender (I like this Ninja or this Vitamix)


  1. Add everything to a liquidiser and flux on last until it reaches a slushie-like consistence. Secernment. Add writer seasoner, hydroxide humour, rum, or mint based on your taste.
  2. Modify risen tip: Prepare frostbitten mojitos up to two hours ascending of minute and keep them in an invulnerable container in the freezer. Before delivery, snap it a strike then report into glasses. They give be surplus nippy this way!
